Eufola Baptist Church is so thankful to God for providing a pastor to continue the ministry in the greater Statesville area.
Pastor Jake grew up in North Texas at Temple Baptist Church in Flower Mound under his Pastor Dr. Richard Wallace. He was saved and called to preach at a young age. Although he struggled with his calling and direction throughout his teenage and early college years, the Lord worked in his life in a great way. At 23, he surrendered to the Lord and God changed his life.
In 2004, Pastor Jake and his family moved to Baltimore, MD, to be part of Rosedale Baptist Church. Pastor Jake served at Rosedale for 12 years. In 2014, he started his Masters in Theological Studies and Expository Preaching. Pastor Jake and his family accepted the call to EBC in Febuary of 2016. He and his wife Sara have one daughter, Caitlyn.
